WHAT HAPPENED?
On March 18, Üner was taken to give a statement from the Halk TV building under police escort, following an investigation initiated due to a social media post.

It was also reported that the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had issued a directive for her to be prepared for questioning by the police as part of the investigation initiated ex officio.
While the prosecutor's office referred Üner to the Peace Criminal Court with a request for a travel ban and judicial control, Üner was released under judicial control.
