A 41-year-old woman who set out in her car to visit her mother in Aksaray collided with another car coming from the opposite direction. In the accident, the 41-year-old woman lost her life, while two others were injured.
A heartbreaking accident occurred around 11:00 AM near the village of Sarıkaraman in the Ortaköy district of Aksaray. The car with license plate 68 AAP 694, driven by 41-year-old Türkan Yıldız, a mother of three, was on its way to visit her mother in Sarıkaraman village when it collided with the car with license plate 68 FA 615, driven by 60-year-old A.E. coming from the opposite direction.
DIED WHILE GOING TO VISIT HER MOTHER
In the accident, Yıldız and the other vehicle's occupants Y.E. (41) and A.E. (16) were injured. Upon notification from bystanders, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to Ortaköy State Hospital by ambulances. Despite all efforts by the doctors, Türkan Yıldız, one of the injured, lost her life. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
