76 small livestock animals were killed as a result of a lightning strike on a flock of sheep in Amasya. The shepherd was taken to the hospital. HEAVY RAIN STARTED WHILE GRAZING THE ANIMALSThe incident occurred in the Kışlacık village, Kuzoluk area, at the foothills of Akdağ. While the sheep owned by Sefer, Recep, and Mehmet Kürkçü were grazing in the field, heavy rain started. LIGHTNING STRUCK 76 SHEEPHowever, at that moment, lightning struck and 76 sheep in the flock were killed. Mehmet Kürkçü was also affected by the lightning. Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area upon notification. SHEPHERD TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENTAfter the initial intervention of the health teams, Mehmet Kürkçü was transported to Amasya University Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin Education and Research Hospital by ambulance. It was reported that Kürkçü's condition is good. HEARTBREAKING SCENE OF THE DEAD ANIMALSWhile gendarmerie teams initiated an investigation into the incident, these heartbreaking images were left behind from the 76 small livestock animals lying motionless on the ground.
