A Lamborghini Gallardo worth approximately 8 to 16 million lira caught fire on a highway in Singapore due to an engine compartment blaze. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, with no injuries reported, but the luxury sports car sustained extensive damage. An investigation into the cause of the fire has been launched.

A green Lamborghini Gallardo traveling on Singapore's East Coast Parkway (ECP) expressway caught fire for reasons yet unknown. The incident occurred on the evening of July 23, on the Changi-bound route, before the Still Road South exit.

The Lamborghini Gallardo, reportedly valued at approximately 8 to 16 million lira in the second-hand market depending on model year and specifications, saw flames rising from the engine compartment quickly engulf the entire rear section. After the incident, the car's engine area was observed to have sustained significant damage.

FIREFIGHTING TEAMS RESPONDED

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) stated that a team was dispatched to the scene following a report received around 5:20 PM. The crews quickly extinguished the fire in the engine compartment using water.

NO INJURIES REPORTED

It was reported that no injuries occurred in the fire. Authorities announced that an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
