In a written statement from the governorship, it was noted that an administrative investigation was initiated on January 8 based on allegations in the press and social media that a teacher working at the Vocational Training Center in Bornova district "took female students out of school during class hours and forced them to work in his own home."
SUSPENDED FROM DUTY
The statement indicated that D.T., a Turkish Language and Literature teacher, has been suspended from duty and that a criminal complaint has been filed with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
