The Syrian army declared the area occupied by YPG/SDG west of the Euphrates River as a military zone and requested all armed elements to withdraw to the east of the Euphrates. Following this statement, the Syrian army took the first step by sending rocket systems to the front line of Deir Hafir, which is under the occupation of the PKK/SDG terrorist organization. Meanwhile, the Shahin Brigades were also deployed to the front line.

In a written statement made to the local press by the army, it was noted that terrorist organizations YPG/SDG and PKK, as well as remnants of the former regime, continue to accumulate in the areas they occupy west of the Euphrates River. It was stated that the occupied areas are being used for attacks on Aleppo with kamikaze drones (UAVs).

It was reported that the areas occupied west of the Euphrates River have been declared a military zone due to the accumulation of the terrorist organization in these regions and their use for UAV attacks on Aleppo. In this context, it was requested that the terrorist elements also withdraw to the east of the Euphrates River.

YPD OPERATION IN ALEPPO
After the increasing attacks, the Syrian army conducted an operation on January 7 in the neighborhoods occupied by the YPG/SDG terrorist organization in Aleppo. Following the operation, the neighborhoods of Ashrafiyeh, Sheikh Maqsoud, and Beni Zayd in Aleppo were liberated from the occupation of the terrorist organization.
