The drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is deepening. Influencer Merve Sanay, who has 3.7 million followers on social media, has also been detained as part of the investigation.

MERVE SANAY HAS BEEN DETAINED
As part of the investigation, the phenomenon Merve Sanay, who has 3.7 million followers on social media, was also detained today.
WHO IS MERVE SANAY?
Merve Sanay was born in 1996 in Istanbul. Merve Sanay, who draws attention with her well-proportioned physique, is 1.78 meters tall and weighs 58 kilograms. Sanay works as a DJ. She frequently comes to the agenda with her posts, reaching a large audience on her Periscope and Instagram accounts. Sanay's Instagram follower count is close to 4 million. Merve Sanay had appeared in front of the camera for a film titled 'Turkish Delight'.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Since October 8, 2025, many operations have been carried out in the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office targeting celebrities. Many well-known names in the public eye, including musicians, managers, and businesspeople, have provided hair and blood samples for statements and drug testing.
SUBAŞI AND TİLKİ'S TEST RESULTS WERE POSITIVE
After being detained, hair and blood samples were taken from Şeyma Subaşı and Aleyna Tilki, who were released, and their test results came back positive. The results of actress İrem Sak, social media phenomenon Neslihan Damla Aktepe known as Danla Bilic, Eser Gökhan Küçükerol, Saim Macit, and Mehmet Güçlü were negative.
In the investigation, suspects are facing charges such as "Possession of drugs for personal use," "Facilitating drug use," "Providing a location," "Promoting prostitution," "Mediating prostitution," and "Providing a location for prostitution."
