Regarding the issue, THY Communication Director Yahya Üstün stated on his social media account, "During our flight TK1853 from Istanbul to Barcelona, as we were approaching Barcelona, it was detected that a passenger created an in-flight internet access point and modified the network name to include a bomb threat. Following this, the necessary procedures were immediately initiated for flight safety. After the safe landing of the aircraft, checks are being carried out by the relevant authorities of the country.
