Memiş Koç (55), who was in a passenger minibus that overturned in Amasya, lost his life, and 4 others were injured. The accident occurred around 09:30 in the Oluz village area of the Göynücek-Amasya highway. The passenger minibus with license plate 05 M 4554, driven by Erol Yaban (59), overturned and flew into a potato field after the driver lost control of the steering wheel.

An Investigation Has Been Launched Regarding The Accident

In the accident, driver Yaban and passengers Memiş Koç, Merve Kiraz (31), Mert Batur Köseibiş (17), and Nurdane Şahin (21) were injured. The injured were taken to Amasya University Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin Training and Research Hospital after the initial intervention by health teams. Despite all efforts by doctors, Memiş Koç could not be saved. An investigation has been launched regarding the accident.
