In the Bozdoğan district of Aydın, 40-year-old Namık Özden, curious about the taste of the oleander plant's flower, ate it and fell ill, being admitted to intensive care at the hospital.
A person who claimed to have fallen ill after eating the flower of an oleander plant in the Bozdoğan district of Aydın was taken to intensive care at the hospital.
FELL ILL AFTER EATING OLEANDER
Namık Özden (40), a resident of the Alamut neighborhood, called the 112 Emergency Call Center for help after falling ill. Özden, who was taken to Nazilli State Hospital by ambulance, told doctors that he ate the flower of an oleander plant he found in a rural area because he was curious about its taste.
IN INTENSIVE CARE
As his condition worsened, Özden was referred to Aydın Adnan Menderes University Practice and Research Hospital, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit for treatment.
