A photo of James Watson, who won the Nobel Prize for the discovery of the double helix structure of DNA, has emerged, taken at Jeffrey Epstein's mansion in New York. The news also included Watson's connections to Epstein and his controversial statements.
PHOTO OF NOBEL-PRIZED SCIENTIST EMERGES
Documents obtained by the British newspaper The Telegraph revealed a photo of Watson, who passed away last year at the age of 97, taken in the grand hall of Epstein's mansion in New York, likely dating back to the late 2010s.
In the photo, Watson is seen with three women, and it is noteworthy that one of the women is holding a scientific paper by Watson.
HE DISCOVERED THE DOUBLE HELIX STRUCTURE OF DNA
The report claimed that Watson, who won the Nobel Prize in 1962 for discovering the double helix structure of DNA with British scientist Francis Crick, was among those close to Epstein, and it mentioned that Watson's statement in 2007 about Africans being "not as intelligent as us" was also defended by Epstein.
The report cited Epstein's conversations with linguist Noam Chomsky, where he stated, "James Watson's private views were made public, and as a result, he was ostracized by society. Some uncomfortable truths may need to be accepted." as evidence of this.
The report emphasized that the presence of Watson's photo at the mansion of billionaire Epstein, who was found dead in prison while being prosecuted for allegedly running a prostitution ring involving underage girls in the U.S., does not imply any illegal behavior, and it also indicated that this situation is a sign of Epstein's efforts to gather prominent figures around him.
The article featured in the photo was noted to be a scientific study titled "Stopping Incurable Cancers by Eliminating Their Antioxidants," which was published in 2013.
Among the obtained documents was an email sent to Epstein by his assistant in 2017, stating, "Dr. Watson sent you a paper. I left it for you on the dining table." The report also shared that Watson discussed the mentioned study in a class in Denmark.
