President Erdoğan has dismissed 4 deputy presidents and 8 general directors from the Presidency of Religious Affairs, who were appointed during the term of former president Ali Erbaş. According to the Presidential Decision published in the Official Gazette, Hatice Boynukalın Şenkardeşler, Hüseyin Hazırlar, Hafiz Osman Şahin, and Fatih Mehmet Karaca have been appointed as deputy presidents.

Deputy President of Religious Affairs Burhan İşliyen, Kadir Dinç, Selim Argun, and İbrahim Hilmi Karslı, General Director of Hajj and Umrah Services Remzi Bircan, General Director of Religious Services Şaban Kondi, General Director of Foreign Relations Mahmut Özdemir, General Director of Religious Publications Cafer Tayyar Doymaz, General Director of Management Services Bünyamin Kahraman, General Director of Human Resources Akif Pusmaz, Strategy Development Head Mustafa Irmaklı, and Guidance and Inspection Head Hasan Güçlü were dismissed.
HERE ARE THE APPOINTMENTS MADE
Hüseyin Hazırlar, Hafız Osman Şahin, Fatih Mehmet Karaca, and Hatice Boynukalın Şenkardeşler were appointed as Deputy Presidents of Religious Affairs. Ahmet İshak Demir was appointed as Deputy President of Religious Affairs, and Emrullah Tuncel was assigned as the Provincial Mufti of Istanbul.
Hüseyin Demirhan was appointed as the General Director of Hajj and Umrah Services, Metin Akbaş as the General Director of Religious Services, Ensari Yentürk as the General Director of Foreign Relations, Hamza Bayram as the General Director of Religious Publications, Nazif Fethi Yalçınkaya as the General Director of Management Services, Sinan Kazancı as the General Director of Human Resources, Halit Güldemir as the Head of Strategy Development, Mehmet Arslan as the Head of Guidance and Inspection, and Ertuğrul Çoşkun as the 1st Legal Advisor.
As Experts of the High Board of Religious Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram Köseoğlu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çakır, Dr. Yahya Solmaz, and Lokman Arslan were appointed, while Dr. Fatih Mehmet Aydın and Tahir Tural were appointed as Members of the High Board of Religious Affairs.
On the other hand, in the High Board of Religious Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ömer Kara from Atatürk University, Prof. Dr. Metin Özdemir from Ankara Social Sciences University, Prof. Dr. Yaşar Yiğit from Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Prof. Dr. Halit Çalış from Necmettin Erbakan University, Prof. Dr. İhsan Çapcıoğlu from Ankara University, Assoc.
