WHAT HAPPENED?

The Grand İsias Hotel, located in the central district of Adıyaman, became a grave for 72 people, including students from KKTC and tour guides. The Adıyaman Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had prepared an indictment against the detained defendants, hotel owner Ahmet Bozkurt, his son Mehmet Fatih Bozkurt, and architect Erdem Yıldız, along with 8 other defendants who were not detained. In the hearing held on December 3, the prosecutor, who presented his opinion, requested that the defendants be punished for "causing the death and injury of multiple people with conscious negligence."

On the other hand, the Adıyaman Provincial Administration Board granted permission for an investigation against 4 public officials at the Adıyaman Municipality, which was separated from the İsias Hotel case file, but no indictment had been prepared.
