According to the collective labor agreement signed between the Bayer Türk Chemical factory in Kocaeli and the Petroleum Workers' Union, the net salaries of the workers have reached 102,000 lira. With social benefits included, this figure has risen to 176,000 lira.

Bayer Türk Kimya, operating in Kocaeli, sat down with the Petrol İş Union Gebze Branch for a collective labor agreement. The decision that came out of the signing ceremony held at the union's headquarters made the workers jump for joy.

WITH THE AGREEMENT, WORKERS' SALARY HAS BECOME 102 THOUSAND LIRA

According to the news in Kocaeli newspaper, with the agreement made, the average net salary of the workers in the factory has risen to 102 thousand lira. When social rights are added, the total monthly earnings of the workers reached 176 thousand lira.

THE AGREEMENT COVERS THE NEXT TWO YEARS

Stating that the collective labor agreement covers the next two years, Petrol İş Union Gebze Branch President Şivan Kırmızıçiçek said, "The following picture emerged; the bare salary is an average of 102 thousand lira, and the total of the social package is 176 thousand lira."
