A 57-year-old retired special operations police officer, Osman Yeşilsancak, who set out to transport a load from Istanbul to Bulgaria, was found dead in his parked truck at the Kapıkule Border Gate. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.

RETIRED SPECIAL OPERATIONS OFFICER FOUND DEAD IN HIS TRUCK
Osman Yeşilsancak, a 57-year-old retired special operations police officer, set off to transport a load from Istanbul to Bulgaria and parked his truck at the Kapıkule Border Gate. Other truck drivers noticed that Yeşilsancak had not moved for a long time and reported the situation to the personnel on duty in the customs area. Upon examination by health officials, it was determined that Yeşilsancak had passed away.
Yeşilsancak's body was taken to the Trakya University Medical Faculty Hospital morgue upon the instruction of the on-duty public prosecutor. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident. It has been learned that Yeşilsancak's body will be sent to Adapazarı.
