'HE HAD NOT LEFT THE HOUSE FOR A WEEK'
Açıl's neighbor, Taner Gülşen, said, "He was a person who lived alone. He lost his sister about 40 days ago. After losing her, his psychology deteriorated. We were taking care of his food, drink, and medications. He had not been able to leave the house for the last week. His face and eyes were swollen, and there was edema in his body. The last time I came, he did not open the door. I thought he was probably dead. When we arrived, we encountered this painful scene. He was lying face down. Perhaps because of the cold, he had dressed in four layers because he couldn't turn on the heaters. We saw them cutting his clothes. He had fallen face down on the floor, between the wall and the bed. He was a good teacher, our retired teacher. We loved him," he said.
