Due to the sandstorm that has been affecting Iraq since yesterday, 4 people lost their lives in a traffic accident, and 3 others were injured. Hundreds of people suffering from respiratory issues due to the sandstorm have also been hospitalized for treatment.

In the Tuzhurmatu district of Salahaddin city, 4 people from the same family lost their lives in a traffic accident caused by the dust storm near the Serha control point, while 3 others were injured. Authorities stated that the accident occurred due to two vehicles colliding as visibility dropped to zero because of the storm.

HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE HOSPITALIZED

Approximately 400 people suffering from respiratory issues were treated in hospitals due to the dust storm.
