It has been revealed that the mother, who was stabbed to death by her alcoholic son after an argument in the Merzifon district of Amasya, told the police who arrived at her door one minute before the incident that she did not want to file a complaint.

Neighbors reported to the police after hearing argument sounds coming from the house of Saliha Karayaka, who lives in the Sofular neighborhood of Merzifon district in Amasya, the night before last.

Karayaka told the police, who came to the house upon the report, that there had been a domestic dispute and that she was not a complainant. As the police were about to leave the building, argument sounds were heard again. Upon this, the police returned to the house and requested help from the fire department when the door did not open. The teams that entered the house found the unfortunate woman, who had suffered knife wounds, in a pool of blood.

HER SON WITH 27 CRIMINAL RECORDS WAS DETAINED

The 60-year-old woman, who was taken to the hospital by ambulance, could not be saved, while her 28-year-old son M.K., who killed his mother, was detained. It was revealed that M.K., who was found to have a blood alcohol level of 1.40 promille, had 27 criminal records, 7 of which were related to drugs.

SENT TO PRISON

Saliha Karayaka, who had previously lost her husband, was buried yesterday. Her son was arrested by the court he was brought before and sent to prison.
