Two citizens walking in Belgrad Forest recorded a fawn being torn apart by stray dogs.
In Belgrad Forest, one of Istanbul's important natural areas, two citizens recorded stray street dogs attacking a fawn. The citizens who captured those moments expressed that wildlife is under threat and that stray dogs are exacerbating the situation.
Experts state that stray dogs particularly threaten natural life in forested areas and disrupt the balance of the ecosystem. It is emphasized that there should be efforts to combat stray animals in order to protect wildlife. In this regard, citizens have also called on the authorities to make wildlife protection and stray dog management policies more effective.
