New footage of Ece Gürel, who was found four days after going missing in Belgrad Forest and later died of hypothermia in the hospital, has emerged. It was learned that Gürel left her home in Kağıthane around noon on March 2 with a bag on her arm, took a minibus to Şişli, and then went to the Mecidiyeköy metro station. Her hurried demeanor at the turnstiles and her interaction with the bus driver caught attention.
Ece Gürel, who lived in the Gültepe neighborhood of Kağıthane, Istanbul, left her home on Sunday, March 2, stating that she would go to Belgrad Forest for a walk, and never returned home.
On the fourth day of the search efforts in the forest following the missing person report, Güler was found in a state of sleep at 01:15 and passed away in the hospital due to organ failure and internal bleeding caused by hypothermia. What Ece Güler did during the time she spent in the forest remains a mystery.

According to allegations, Gürel went to Belgrad Forest because she was upset with her husband and angry with her boss, and did not answer any calls that came to her phone. On March 2, in the afternoon, the architect, who left her home in Kağıthane with a bag on her arm, took a minibus to Şişli, and her next destination was Mecidiyeköy metro station. Ece Gürel, whose hasty behavior at the turnstiles was captured on camera, got off at Hacıosman after 9 stops on the metro and boarded the bus going to Belgrad Forest.

Engaging in a brief dialogue with the bus driver, Ece Gürel responded to the driver's question, "Are you getting off here?" with "Thank you, I forgot." Noticing her absent-mindedness, Gürel got off the bus and walked about 1 km before reaching the forest. The last image of architect Ece Gürel before she was found was her walking towards the forest.
