"UAV" ALARM IN ROMANIA
Mosteanu evaluated the detection of a group of UAVs moving near Romania's border with Ukraine by the Ministry of Defense last night and the deployment of two F-16 fighter jets for monitoring the situation at the parliament building in the capital, Bucharest.
"IF RUSSIAN UAVS ENTER THE AIRSPACE WITHOUT PERMISSION, WE WILL SHOOT THEM DOWN IMMEDIATELY"
Mosteanu reported that there was no violation of Romania's airspace last night, stating, "Once again, there were UAVs quite close to our borders last night. We launched our aircraft again."
When asked about their stance if one or more UAVs belonging to Russia violated Romanian airspace, Mosteanu said, "A shoot order will definitely be given. There is an order to shoot down Russian UAVs immediately if they enter the country's airspace without permission."
