Famous singer and director Metin Arolat passed away on Friday night after suffering a heart attack on stage. His sudden death has left his fans in mourning, and a funeral ceremony was held for Arolat yesterday in Istanbul. The claim made by Arolat's 20-year stage partner Kaan Öztürk has raised questions.

Speaking to Gazete Magazin at the funeral, Kaan Öztürk said, "Metin was not a health-conscious person in terms of sports, but he mentioned that he had received such a supplement when he came to the venue that day. There are people who come home and get IV drips. He said he felt unwell that day and had this procedure done, and afterwards he said he felt better. I think this definitely needs to be investigated. Our heart problems have increased significantly after the vaccine. A lot of things of unknown nature are happening around us under the name of health services. I don't know how likely it is for a person to suddenly fall and have a heart attack when they are well enough to sing. A massage was also done, but despite that, he did not come back. It seems he experienced a very serious problem," he stated.

DEMET SAĞIROĞLU: HE WAS ON A DIET, HIS HEART COULDN'T HANDLE IT

Following the news of Metin Arolat's death, artist Demet Sağıroğlu, who went to the hospital, stated, "He was a special brother whom I loved very much. He was on a diet again. We always have death diets. I guess his heart couldn't take it. He left with a smile. That's what his manager said," she said.

A FUNERAL CEREMONY WAS HELD IN ISTANBUL

A funeral ceremony was held yesterday at Teşvikiye Mosque for singer and director Metin Arolat (52), who passed away from a heart attack while performing in KADIKÖY. Arolat's artist friends Gülben Ergen, Gülşen, Ozan Orhon, Yeliz, Demet Sağıroğlu, producer İzzet Öz, actor Barış Kılıç, Bekir Aksoy, Nilgün Belgün, Onur Büyüktopçu, designer Hakan Akkaya, family members, and citizens attended the ceremony. Arolat's sister Fatoş Alkan received condolences. Arolat's body was sent to his hometown Izmir after the funeral prayer held following the noon prayer at Teşvikiye Mosque. Metin Arolat's funeral will be buried today at Karşıyaka Cemetery.
