A light commercial vehicle carrying police special operations (PÖH) course students crashed into the back of a truck in Çankırı. In the accident, 2 people lost their lives and 3 others were injured.

A terrible accident occurred around 20:30 at the Hacı Ali junction on the Çankırı-Ankara highway. A light commercial vehicle with license plate 34 SV 4651, driven by M.F.G. (26), crashed into the rear of a truck with license plate 37 PT 057, driven by Onur H. The accident site was attended by numerous health, police, and fire teams upon notification.
2 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES, 3 PEOPLE INJURED
In the accident, the driver and passengers C.M., M.C.S., I.S.G., and A.M.E. from the Çankırı Şehit Seyit Saraç Police Special Operations Training Center were injured. The injured were taken to Çankırı State Hospital after the first intervention at the accident site. Despite all interventions, I.S.G. and A.M.E. lost their lives. It was reported that the treatment of the other injured is ongoing.
"OUR INJURED ARE UNDERGOING TREATMENT"
Governor Mustafa Fırat Taşolar, who conducted an investigation at the scene, stated in a press release, "First of all, may our condolences be with all of us. An accident occurred when a vehicle carrying five police friends who were training at the special operations police training center in Çankırı went under a truck. Unfortunately, we lost two of our colleagues, police friends, in this accident. The treatment of our three injured is ongoing at Çankırı State Hospital. May all of you be well." After his investigation at the accident site, Governor Taşolar visited the injured at Çankırı State Hospital and conveyed his wishes for a speedy recovery.
