In the Olgaeck district of Stuttgart, a driver crashed into a crowd, resulting in 8 people injured, 3 of whom are seriously injured. Stuttgart police stated that the driver was taken into custody at the scene, and announced that traffic restrictions were being implemented in most parts of the city center.

On February 13, a vehicle had also crashed into members of the Verdi labor union who were protesting on Seidlstrasse Street in Munich. In the attack, 2 people lost their lives, and approximately 39 people were injured.
