It has emerged that Cemil Önal, who was said to be the accountant of Halil Falyalı and was killed a few days ago, had expressed his suspicion several times to the Dutch prosecutor's office that he could be killed.

DUTCH POLICE CONFIRMED
The Dutch police, confirming the murder, announced that the person shot dead on the terrace of a crowded hotel in Rijswijk was 41-year-old Turkish citizen Cemil Önal. It was stated that the assailant has not yet been caught, and the murder is being investigated by a large-scale investigation team. It was learned that Önal was shot several times at close range on the terrace of the Rijswijk Hoevevoorde hotel around 5:45 PM.
HOTEL MANAGER: HE FIRES DIRECTLY AND RUNS AWAY
The hotel manager, speaking after the armed attack at the hotel, stated in an interview with the Dutch press, "I watched the security camera footage. A man with his face uncovered approaches while the customer is sitting at the table, fires directly, and runs away." A woman who was a witness to the incident described what happened as "This was a plain execution."
HE HAD REPORTED THAT HE WOULD BE KILLED
On the other hand, new details regarding the murder continue to emerge. David Davidson from the Dutch media organization Follow The Money stated that he met with Önal last week. It was noted that Davidson mentioned Önal's lawyer had said about the threat of murder, "This serious threat was reported to the prosecution several times," while the Dutch prosecution has not made a statement regarding the matter.
KEY NAME OF HALİL FALYALI
Önal was known to be one of the key figures managing the financial affairs of Halil Falyalı, who was killed in a shooting in the TRNC in 2022. After the Falyalı murder, Önal was wanted as a "suspect," but it was determined that he had fled abroad.
Önal, who was captured in the Netherlands in December 2023, was not extradited to Turkey and began to be tried in the Netherlands. He was released after giving a 120-page statement to Dutch and US intelligence.
