A vehicle that lost control of its driver rolled into the Zernek Dam Lake in Van. It was learned that there were 3 people in the car, and teams have started search and rescue operations at the scene. The lifeless body of 1 person has been found, and the search for the other 2 individuals is ongoing.

A terrible accident occurred around 09:30 at the 45th kilometer of the Van-Hakkari highway. The car, whose license plate and driver's name are unknown, lost control and rolled into the Zernek Dam Lake.

It was reported that there were 3 people in the car, and upon notification, AFAD, UMKE, gendarmerie, and health teams were dispatched to the accident site. Teams initiated search and rescue operations in the area.

During the search efforts, the lifeless body of one person was found. Search operations for the 2 missing individuals are ongoing.
