Ayşe Seyidoğlu, a Turkish citizen and the President of the Syrian Associations Platform established by Syrians who sought refuge in Turkey during the civil war in Syria, was appointed today as the Head of the Women's Affairs Office in Syria's new government. Seyidoğlu made history as the first female official to hold a position in the new government.
