A worker who suffered a heart attack while repairing a roof in Sivas has lost his life.

According to the information obtained, the incident occurred on the roof of an apartment building on 12-4 Street in Sularbaşı Neighborhood a few days ago. Nurettin Yılmaz, 54, who went up to the roof for repairs, suddenly collapsed due to a heart attack. Upon notification of the situation, health, police, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene.

TEAMS PERFORMED CPR ON THE ROOF FOR MINUTES

The health teams that went up to the roof performed CPR for minutes. With the extension of the fire ladder, Yılmaz was brought down. Even while Yılmaz was being brought down, CPR continued to be performed by the fire team. Yılmaz was taken to Sivas Cumhuriyet University Medical Faculty Hospital by ambulance, but despite all the interventions, he could not be saved and passed away. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident, and it has been learned that Yılmaz's funeral will be held at Ay Yıldız Mosque.
