The leader of the Future Party, Ahmet Davutoğlu, said that he was supposed to meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who will speak at the Turkish Grand National Assembly today, but the meeting was canceled.

A commemoration program for the martyrs who dedicated their lives to the Free Palestine Cause was held at the Future Party Headquarters. The program started with a moment of silence and the national anthem, followed by a prayer for Hamas leader Haniye and those who lost their lives in Palestine. Mustafa Çakmakçı, the Head of Youth Policies of the Future Party, Gaza youth, Musa Akkari, the Hamas Turkey representative, Selçuk Özdağ, the Deputy Chairman of the Future Party, and finally Ahmet Davutoğlu, the leader of the Future Party, gave speeches.

"THERE WAS NOT A SINGLE LEADER OF AN ISLAMIC COUNTRY AT HANIYE'S FUNERAL"

In his speech, Ahmet Davutoğlu, the leader of the Future Party, said:

"A leader is someone who experiences the fate of the people he represents. If they are hungry, he also goes hungry; if they are oppressed, he also becomes oppressed; if they are martyred, he also becomes a martyr. The real greatness of Ismail Haniye is that he has experienced the fate of his people. My sorrow at Haniye's funeral was for the entire Islamic world. Jerusalem is the symbol of the entire Islamic world, and Al-Aqsa Mosque is our first qibla. There was not a single leader of an Islamic country at the funeral of that hero who was martyred for Jerusalem. Shame on them. I insist on turning the issue into something other than an Iran-Israel conflict. I insist on peace. Not for a call for jihad. The way to prevent a regional war is to remove it from being an Iran-Israel conflict. That's why we need vision, but they couldn't dare. Mahmud Abbas is currently in Turkey, but Haniye couldn't come. Haniye is waiting for all those leaders in heaven, holding onto their collars, asking them 'where were you during my funeral prayer when I was martyred?' What's the use now?"

"NO ONE EXPECTS A DIPLOMATIC SPEECH ANYMORE"

We requested a meeting with Mahmud Abbas when he arrived at the Palestinian Embassy. They said, 'Mahmud Abbas would be honored to meet with you.' Yesterday morning, the private secretary of the Palestinian Embassy called our office and said that Mahmud Abbas wanted to meet with me tomorrow at 12. However, last night, I don't know what kind of intervention happened, the Palestinian Embassy said that Mahmud Abbas couldn't meet with me due to his busy schedule. Mustafa Çakmakçı, the Head of Youth Policies of the Future Party, said:

"Gaza has been under blockade for 20 years. Gazan women, children, and youth have been resisting this oppression with patience. We need to question where we stand in this picture. The young people in Gaza have no educational institution to receive education, no hospital for treatment, and no place to call home."

"THE MOST DIFFICULT THING AMONG WHAT WE EXPERIENCE IS NOT DEATH, BUT THE DIFFICULTY OF EMOTIONS"

The young people from Gaza stated the following in their speeches:

• "You really had no idea what was happening. Pain cannot be described, it must be experienced. The most difficult thing among what we experience is not death, but the difficulty of emotions. It is more painful than death not knowing what happened to a family member, not knowing what happened to them. It is more painful than death when a mother does not recognize her son who has been tortured and suffered. "
• "We are commemorating Ismail Haniye, but I wish we didn't have to. I wish there was support from the Islamic world before he became a martyr. I wish we were gathering in a completely different atmosphere."
• "What Israel still doesn't understand is that even if our leaders die, a thousand more leaders will be born until Palestine is free. We want to explain who Ismail Haniye is; yes, Haniye is the leader of Hamas, but he is also the elected Prime Minister of Palestine. The Palestinian people elected Haniye and he served as the Prime Minister. That's why this assassination was not only against Hamas but against the entire Palestinian people. Some voices from the right and left say that Hamas is a terrorist organization, but it is not. I also want to address Netanyahu; no matter what you do, we will continue to fight until Al-Aqsa Mosque is free, we will never give up."

After the speech of the young Gazan, he presented the land of Al-Aqsa Mosque to Davutoğlu as a gift.

Musa Akkari, the Hamas Turkey representative, said:

"We are not crying for our martyrs. We cry if ideas die. An idea cannot be killed by a hundred thousand bombs. If the struggle continues for an idea, that idea will continue to live. The blood of our martyrs brings us closer to the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Israel makes a mistake every time it reads history. Every time, Israel repeats the killing of experts. My entire rib area is full of fractures. But could they break our ideas, our ideology? Every day, we witness on television the killing of people, the burning of children, and a new massacre. This idea, this ideology cannot be eliminated by beheading or cutting the body in half."

"PALESTINIANS ARE AMONG THE GREATEST HEROES OF THE PAST CENTURY"

Selçuk Özdağ, the Deputy Chairman of the Future Party, said:

"We think that this is the struggle of Palestine. It is also the struggle of Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, and Turkey. It is even the struggle of all Muslims and even Christians. I believe that Palestinians are among the greatest heroes of the past century. Today, a genocide is taking place. They are resisting, but is there support from the Islamic world? When you look at those who govern the Republic of Turkey, you see that they have prepared the ground for Israel's arrogance by not managing the right foreign policies."

Mahmut Arıkan, Deputy Chairman of the Felicity Party, said, "Very important issues have been addressed. I ask for forgiveness from the Palestinians. While you were passing your test in the best way, if we could have passed this test in a good way, we wouldn't be having this meeting today. Imagine a nation that has been bombed for 315 days. One day they lose their homes, another day they lose their schools, mosques, but they don't give up an inch of their struggle" he said.
