Another earthquake panic has occurred in Japan. The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) announced that a 6.7 magnitude earthquake occurred off the eastern coast of Aomori Prefecture.
TSUNAMI WARNING ISSUED
The tremor was recorded at a depth of 20 kilometers at 11:44 local time, and a tsunami warning was issued for the Pacific coasts of Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi Prefectures, and Hokkaido.
"STAY AWAY FROM COASTAL AREAS"
Authorities warned that tsunami waves could reach heights of up to 1 meter and called for people to move away from coastal areas.
