In the CHP, which has suffered significant losses in the Parliament due to the resignations of Özgür Özel and 90 members of parliament, the waters are not calming down. Following the mass defection, CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu initiated an emergency evaluation meeting at the party headquarters in Ankara with the 9 members of the Central Executive Board present.

CALLED AN EMERGENCY MEETING

91 DEPUTIES RESIGNED FROM CHP, NEW PARTY FOUNDED
The establishment petition of the New Party, which will be founded by Özgür Özel and the deputies who left the CHP, was submitted to the Ministry of Interior.
A 5-member delegation formed to carry out the party's founding procedures arrived at the Ministry of Interior at 10:30 AM.
After completing the official procedures, the delegation delivered the party's establishment petition, the list of founders, and related documents to the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Interior.
Following the application, Ankara Deputy Murat Emir made statements to the press in front of the Ministry.
Emir stated that they have embarked on a great and hopeful journey with the New Party, and spoke as follows:
"We have founded and are founding our New Party, our brand new party, which we hope will be a very important milestone in Turkish political history. We just received our establishment documents from our Ministry of Interior. We hope that other procedures will be completed within hours, and our party will be legally established before the day ends. We are completing the establishment phase of our party today under the leadership of our Chairman Özgür Özel, with our 91 deputies, and from today onward, we will be much stronger and more institutional, once again in the squares, in the fields, in factories, and in universities."
