The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues to update the list of Imitated or Adulterated Foods. It was found that the kebabs and meatballs at a restaurant called Muhtar Hanımın Yeri in Konya contained pork. On the other hand, it was reported that a brand of cheese sold in supermarkets contained a fungicide.

The lists of 'Imitation or Adulterated Foods' and 'Foods That Will Endanger Health' published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continue to be in the spotlight. The ministry has exposed new products and brands that threaten human health. New products and brands were added to the list on February 20.

It was reported that in the restaurant named Muhtar Hanımın Yeri - Zehra Kaya located in Konya Emirgazi, pork was used instead of beef and lamb in kebabs and meatballs.

In the full-fat Sunflower Seed Seasoned Melting Cheese product sold under the Necatibey brand, natamycin, known as 'mushroom pesticide', was detected.

Meanwhile, the well-known spice brand Baghdad Spices was also included in the ministry's list.

FOOD DYE FOUND IN TEA BAGS

While foreign substances were detected in the thyme of Baghdad, food dye was also found in the tea bags of the Süzerim Çay Time brand.
