In Nevşehir, H.D., a bride candidate who deceived Y.A. with a promise of marriage and fled after taking gold, money, and a mobile phone worth approximately 1 million TL, along with her accomplice S.Ç.A., were caught in Kayseri.
Y.A., who set out with the dream of building a happy home in Nevşehir, experienced the shock of her life by falling into a 'fake bride' trap.
1 MILLION GONE
Two women named S.Ç.A. and H.D., who came from Şanlıurfa to Nevşehir, met Y.A. here. Later, they also met Y.A.'s mother İ.A. and gained the family's trust. After a while, Y.A. started preparations for marriage and went to a jeweler with the suspects, purchasing gold jewelry worth approximately 1 million TL. Taking a large amount of cash, various clothes, and the cell phones of the groom and his mother under the pretext of wedding preparations, S.Ç.A. and H.D. disappeared. Then, the two female suspects left Nevşehir and set out to go to Şanlıurfa.
THEY WERE ARRESTED
Realizing he had been scammed, Y.A. applied to the police station. In their investigation, teams from the Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch Directorate, Theft and Pickpocketing Bureau Office determined that the suspects were in the Pınarbaşı district of Kayseri. In a joint operation with Pınarbaşı Police Department teams, the vehicle carrying H.D. and S.Ç.A. was stopped. During the searches, gold, money, jewelry, and cell phones worth approximately 1 million TL were seized. The 2 suspects, taken into custody, were brought to Nevşehir and referred to the courthouse. S.Ç.A. and H.D. were arrested by the court they were brought before.
