SEIZURE OF EXPIRED PRODUCTS
Inspection teams conducted checks in the central district of Şanlıurfa and the districts of Akçakale, Viranşehir, Birecik, and Hilvan. During the inspections, expired food products and items stored under unhealthy conditions were identified. As part of the inspections, 1,500 kilograms of rice, 650 kilograms of jam, 200 kilograms of chocolate, 200 kilograms of tomato paste, 100 kilograms of baby biscuits, and 100 kilograms of tea were seized.

At a BİM branch, expired products and infested rice packages were captured on camera. Expired and spoiled products were collected by the inspection teams to be destroyed. While 12 businesses faced penalties, those storing products under unhealthy and unsanitary conditions were also warned.
