162 new police officers, fresh graduates from the Merzifon Police Vocational Training Center (POMEM) in Amasya, celebrated their entry into the profession by dancing "Erik Dalı" in the hall after the official ceremony.
162 police candidates who successfully completed a challenging 10-month training at Merzifon Police Vocational Training Center (POMEM) in Amasya graduated in a magnificent ceremony. The newly minted police officers, who took their oath and threw their caps in the air, celebrated their success and the joy of entering the profession by dancing to "Erik Dalı" in the middle of the hall.
The 32nd term graduation ceremony held at Merzifon Sports Hall began with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem. Amid excitement and pride, the top student of the term placed a plaque on the log of tradition, and successful students were presented with certificates and awards.
"DO NOT BOW BEFORE THE CRIMINAL, BE COMPASSIONATE TO THE VICTIM"
Speaking at the ceremony, Amasya Governor Önder Bakan highlighted the Turkish Police Force's resolute stance against criminals and compassionate approach to victims, wishing the graduates success in their duties. Governor Bakan said, "You will carry the honor of the oath you took on the flag, our weapon, and our sacred values in your heart for a lifetime."
Merzifon POMEM Director Erol Demir addressed his young colleagues, stating, "May your guide always be law and conscience while on duty. When using the authority granted by law, never abandon courtesy, but never bow before crime and the criminal. Remember that you represent our state with the uniform you wear."

Following the speeches, 162 police candidates took their oath with great enthusiasm in the hall and threw their caps in the air, experiencing the joy of graduation.
