In the Vize district of Kırklareli, amateur fisherman Nurettin Top caught a 1 meter 60 centimeter long, 35 kilogram catfish with a fishing rod.
In Vize, Nurettin Top (52) went fishing with his friends at Kıyıköy Aksicim Dam. After casting his line, he began to reel it in and noticed a large fish at the end. After about 20 minutes of effort, the amateur fisherman Top pulled the fish to the shore and experienced great joy.
EXACTLY 1 METER 60 CENTIMETERS
Measurements revealed the fish was 1 meter 60 centimeters long and weighed 35 kilograms. Nurettin Top stated that he had never caught a catfish of this size before, saying, "I never expected a fish like this to bite my hook. It was our lucky day."
