As the effects of the escalating war between Iran, the USA, and Israel spread to the Gulf, the Kuwaiti army announced that numerous drones entering the airspace from the north of the country were shot down by air defense systems.
The Kuwaiti army announced that a large number of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that entered the country's airspace were neutralized through intervention. It is known that Kuwait has frequently been targeted by airstrikes in recent weeks due to escalating conflicts in the region.
In a statement from the Kuwaiti army, it was noted that a large number of UAVs entering the airspace from the northern direction of the country were detected. The statement expressed that air defense elements were activated and the mentioned unmanned aerial vehicles were neutralized through intervention.

Authorities reported that the security of the airspace was ensured after the incident, while no details were shared regarding which country or group the UAVs belonged to.
ATTACKS CONTINUE UNABATED
On the other hand, Kuwait has recently been facing increasing attacks in the region. It has been reported that numerous missile and UAV attacks have been carried out against Gulf countries following the conflicts between Iran and the US and Israel. Since February 28, it has been stated that hundreds of missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles have been detected and shot down in attacks against Kuwait, with some attacks also targeting infrastructure.
In recent days, fuel depots at Kuwait International Airport and some public buildings have been targeted by unmanned aerial vehicles, resulting in fires and injuries to some individuals. Additionally, at the beginning of March, a facility housing US soldiers in Kuwait was also attacked by drones, with reports of casualties and injuries.
US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN
While negotiations continue between Tehran and Washington, Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in some regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with many high-ranking officials, was killed. According to Iranian officials, the death toll from the US-Israel attacks has exceeded 1,348, and the number of injured has surpassed 17,000.
