Galatasaray goalkeeper Günay Güvenç received the TFF Fair Play and Social Responsibility award for embracing the ball boy during the Fenerbahçe derby played in the Turkish Cup and for his exemplary statements made after the match.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Fair Play and Social Responsibility Committee awarded Galatasaray goalkeeper Günay Güvenç.

In a statement made by the TFF, it was noted that the goalkeeper of the yellow-red team was deemed worthy of the award after the Ziraat Turkey Cup match played between Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray.
The statement emphasized the dialogue between Günay Güvenç and the ball boy, stating, "The Committee decided to reward Galatasaray goalkeeper Günay Güvenç due to his conversation with the ball boy during the Ziraat Turkey Cup quarter-final match between Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, his unifying attitude during tense moments, and his statements after the match."
It was recorded that Günay Güvenç's award would be presented by Fair Play and Social Responsibility Committee Member Av. Kürşat Ahmet Ünal before the Galatasaray-Sipay Bodrum FK match to be played on April 18 at RAMS Park.
