An 87-year-old woman died from gas poisoning that leaked from a kitchen gas cylinder she had ignited while cooking in the Beşiri district of Batman, and her husband is being treated in intensive care.
In the village of Yenipınar, located in the Beşiri district of Batman, 87-year-old Zeynep Atmaca and her husband Ahmet Atmaca were affected by gas leaking from a kitchen cylinder while preparing dinner at home in the evening hours.
ELDERLY WOMAN DIED, HUSBAND IN INTENSIVE CARE
Upon realizing the situation, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene following a report from the villagers. Health teams determined that Zeynep Atmaca had died at the scene due to gas poisoning. Ahmet Atmaca was taken to Batman Regional State Hospital for treatment after the first intervention at the scene.
HE IS IN CRITICAL CONDITION
It was learned that Atmaca's life is still in danger. While the gendarmerie teams conducted an investigation at the house, a large-scale investigation was launched regarding the incident.
