Uganda's Chief of General Staff Muhoozi Kainerugaba targeted Turkey while announcing that he is ready to send 100,000 soldiers to Israel. Kainerugaba demanded 1 billion dollars from Ankara, threatening to cut diplomatic relations otherwise.

Uganda Chief of General Staff Muhoozi Kainerugaba made statements on social media supporting Israel while also using harsh words towards Turkey. Kainerugaba, who is seen as the son of Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni and a possible successor, drew attention with his statements.

“WE ARE READY TO SEND 100,000 SOLDIERS”

Kainerugaba, who openly expressed his support for Israel, stated that the Ugandan army is ready for duty in this regard. Emphasizing religious motivations, the Chief of General Staff of Uganda referred to Israel as “Holy Lands” and expressed that they could provide military support.

Kainerugaba said, "I am ready to mobilize 100,000 Ugandan soldiers in Israel. We are willing to take this step to protect the Holy Lands, which are the lands of our Lord Jesus Christ."

TARGETING TURKEY

In his continued statements, Kainerugaba directly targeted Turkey, describing Ankara as the “main problem.” Without going into the details of the tension with Turkey, the Chief of General Staff of Uganda used a harsh tone.

“WE WILL CUT RELATIONS WITHIN 30 DAYS”

Kainerugaba suggested that diplomatic relations could be severed by giving Turkey a deadline. He stated that if Ankara does not take the necessary steps, all relations could be terminated within 30 days.

“We waited for them to get themselves together. If they do not address our issues, we will terminate all diplomatic relations with Turkey within the next 30 days,” he said.

REQUEST FOR 1 BILLION DOLLARS

The Ugandan general also made a financial request from Turkey for a possible dialogue process. He announced that they are asking for at least 1 billion dollars from Ankara before any discussions begin.

Kainerugaba stated, “We are requesting a minimum of 1 billion dollars from Turkey even before we start talking.”
