Uganda's Chief of General Staff Kainerugaba announced that he could mobilize 100,000 soldiers for Israel while making brazen threats targeting Turkey.
Uganda's Chief of General Staff Muhoozi Kainerugaba has made headlines with his statements in the international public sphere. Kainerugaba, who has made bold statements supporting Israel while targeting Turkey, is facing backlash for his remarks.
“I CAN MOBILIZE 100 THOUSAND SOLDIERS”
Kainerugaba, the son of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and seen as a potential successor, announced that they are ready to support Israel. In a post on social media, he stated that the Ugandan army is ready for duty for Israel.
Kainerugaba said, "I am ready to mobilize 100 thousand Ugandan soldiers in Israel. To protect the Holy Lands, which are the lands of our Lord Jesus Christ."
HERE IS THE REASON FOR SUPPORT
Kainerugaba, who has made similar statements before, indicated that the religious motivation is the basis of their support for Israel. Emphasizing that their Christian identity plays a significant role in this stance, Kainerugaba reiterated that they stand by Israel.
HE TARGETED TURKEY
In another post, Kainerugaba included statements targeting Turkey. Describing Turkey as the "main problem," the Ugandan Chief of General Staff made harsh remarks towards Ankara.
“WE CAN CUT RELATIONS WITHIN 30 DAYS”
Addressing the issues with Turkey, Kainerugaba expressed that they could sever diplomatic relations if the problems are not resolved. In his statement, Kainerugaba mentioned that they have given Turkey a deadline, suggesting that if no action is taken within 30 days, relations could be completely terminated.
