A 500-person iftar table was set up in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the homeland of Aliya Izzetbegović, where President Erdoğan stated, "We will never leave them alone." The program, held under the slogan 'Brotherhood Iftar,' emphasized the strengthening of historical and cultural ties between Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
'Brotherhood iftar' slogan was attended by 500 Muslim Turks and Bosnians at the iftar program organized by Sultanbeyli Municipality in the city of Praca, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The iftar program was attended by Sultanbeyli Mayor Ali Tombaş, Turkey's Ambassador to Sarajevo Emin Akseki, Praca Mayor Almin Cutuk, as well as Bosnian officials and many guests.
PRAYERS WERE MADE FOR ALL MUSLIMS
Mayor Ali Tombaş, who came to Praca with a delegation of Sultanbeyli council members and NGO representatives, met with Bosnians at the iftar table set up in the event area. While hymns were sung on the stage, Bosnians embraced their Turkish brothers at the iftar held in the municipal hall. Until the call to prayer, recitation of the Quran took place, and after the call to prayer, everyone broke their fast together, hands were raised to the sky, and prayers were made for all Muslims in the world.
HE DELIVERED ERDOĞAN'S GREETING
"I bring you the greetings of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan," said Sultanbeyli Mayor Ali Tombaş, adding, "Wherever a victim is in the oppressed geography, regardless of their language, religion, or ethnicity, if there is a victim, the Republic of Turkey and our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have certainly reached out to them. And they have wiped their tears," he stated.
Tombaş stated, "Brotherhood in municipalism is never just a protocol sentence that remains on paper for us; rather, it is the name of turning the historical and emotional bond between us into concrete service. We will strengthen this unbreakable bond to a much stronger level with the common steps we will take in every area of life, from culture to education, from youth projects to social municipalism," he said.
