The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office took action following the words used by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel during his speech at the party's rally in Istanbul's Beyoğlu, directed at Gürlek. An investigation has been initiated ex officio against Özel for the crimes of "insulting a public official" and "threatening."
