Ukraine struck another logistics center of Wildberries, one of Russia's largest e-commerce companies it had previously targeted, this time near St. Petersburg. According to reports in the foreign press, the Aviatek aviation plant in Kirov was also targeted in the attacks. While a fire broke out at the Wildberries facility, official confirmation and damage assessment regarding the strike on the aviation plant have not yet been released.
As part of Ukraine's long-range strikes on Russian interior regions, a logistics center belonging to Wildberries near St. Petersburg in the Leningrad region was reportedly hit. Regional Governor Alexander Drozdenko stated that a fire broke out at the warehouse following the attack and three people were injured. Wildberries announced it has temporarily suspended operations at two logistics facilities in the area.
ALLEGED TARGETING OF AVIATION FACTORY
According to reports in the foreign press, another target of the strikes was the Aviatek aviation factory in the city of Kirov. It is alleged that a missile attack was carried out on the facility, which is part of the Almaz-Antey defense industrial group. However, Russian authorities have not yet made an official confirmation or damage assessment regarding this attack.
WILDBERRIES TARGETED MULTIPLE TIMES IN RECENT DAYS
Ukraine has targeted numerous logistics centers belonging to Wildberries, one of Russia's largest e-commerce companies, over the past week. According to Reuters, five warehouses, constituting approximately 10% of the company's logistics capacity, have been damaged in attacks since July 18. The Kyiv administration argues that these facilities support the Russian army's logistics infrastructure, while Moscow denies this claim.
