Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced the launch of a new support program to protect employment in the tourism sector. For each insured worker in accommodation facilities with a Tourism Operation Certificate that meet certain conditions, a premium support of 3,500 lira will be provided for the period May-December 2026. A total resource of 6 billion lira has been allocated to the sector within the scope of the implementation.

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced new employment support for the tourism sector in a statement on his social media account. Işıkhan reported that a new application has been launched to strengthen the employment capacity of the tourism sector.

3 THOUSAND 500 LIRA SUPPORT FOR EACH EMPLOYEE

Minister Işıkhan announced that premium support will be applied for insured workers employed in Tourism Operation Certified accommodation facilities meeting certain conditions, covering the May-December 2026 period. Within the scope of the support, premium support of 3 thousand 500 lira will be provided for each insured worker.

6 BILLION LIRA RESOURCE ALLOCATED

Stating that a total of 6 billion lira in resources has been allocated to the tourism sector, Işıkhan used the following statements in his post: "We are implementing a new application for our tourism sector, which supports many sectors in our country, strengthens our employment capacity, and is our smokeless industry. We will provide 3 thousand 500 lira support for each insured worker employed in accommodation facilities that meet certain conditions operating in the sector. Within this scope, we have allocated 6 billion lira in resources directly to the tourism sector. Our support will continue until the end of the year. I wish it to be beneficial."
