Özel's cover photo on his X account was completely renewed, featuring the phrases "NEW Party" and "Özgür Özel" on a red background.
ATATÜRK, TRACTOR CONVOY AND SLOGAN DREW ATTENTION
The left section of the cover image used a black-and-white photograph of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk walking. Right next to Atatürk, the quote "The peasant is the master of the nation" was placed.
The middle section of the image featured a long convoy of many tractors carrying Turkish flags, while on the right side, a photo of Özgür Özel at the tractor steering wheel together with citizens was chosen.

Özel renewed not only his cover image but also his profile picture. Using a frame where he waves in a suit for the new profile photo, this change on Özel's account came immediately after the "New Party" announcement.

The turbulent process that had been ongoing for months in the CHP resulted in a mass split. Özgür Özel, announcing his resignation from the CHP with a farewell video, declared the name of the new political movement they established as the "New Party." The founding petition of the formation, which made a show of strength with the resignation of 91 MPs, is being submitted to the Ministry of Interior.

Özgür Özel, to whom all eyes turned, made his long-expected official announcement farewell to the CHP through a video message. Officially announcing his departure from the party to the public, Özel declared the name of the eagerly awaited new political movement as the "New Party." Stating that they are opening the doors to a new era, Özel used the following expressions in his farewell and founding message: "May it be beneficial to the homeland, the nation, our party, and all of us."
BALANCE IN PARLIAMENT TURNED UPSIDE DOWN
With the mass resignation of 91 MPs acting with Özgür Özel from the CHP, the balance in Parliament turned upside down. The official founding petition of the New Party, signed by Özel, was dispatched to be delivered to the Ministry of Interior. Meanwhile, it was learned that the party administration and the founding board keep a backup party option and name ready against any possible legal and administrative obstacles.
HERE IS ÖZGÜR ÖZEL'S FIRST STOP
After the completion of official processes, Özgür Özel's first address of the day will be Hacı Bayram-ı Veli Mosque, one of Ankara's iconic venues. Özel, who will perform Friday prayers here, will then meet with the names that will form the main backbone of the new group in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). In the afternoon, Özel will come together with the "New Party Founding Board" at the Anadolu Club to shape the party's administrative bodies, parliamentary group, and the political roadmap for the upcoming period.
