In Istanbul, contractor Bayram Doğan signed a contract worth 233 million TL with the Ahbap Association through Haluk Levent for 11 apartments, transferred 4 apartments, but when he didn't receive payment, he claimed he was defrauded and filed a criminal complaint.

Bayram Doğan, a contractor in Istanbul, signed a contract with the Ahbap Association through Haluk Levent for the sale of 11 apartments totaling 233 million TL. Doğan transferred 4 apartments to two people directed by Levent, but when he could not collect his payment, he realized he had been scammed. Canceling the sale of the remaining 7 apartments, Doğan filed a criminal complaint against Haluk Levent through his lawyer.

New allegations have been raised regarding Haluk Levent, who was detained by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office as part of an investigation into the Ahbap Association.

HE LOST 4 APARTMENTS

Bayram Doğan, a contractor in Istanbul, filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office on the grounds that he was scammed by Haluk Levent.

4 Apartments Lost to Haluk Levent

Doğan stated that he agreed on 233 million TL for the sale of 11 apartments in Ataşehir on June 23, 2026, and signed a contract with Haluk Levent. He said, "We processed the title deed entries for 6 of these apartments. We transferred 4 apartments to the friends Haluk Levent pointed out as 'Ahbap Association staff.' The title deed fees for 2 apartments were also paid. At that stage, Haluk Bey did not make the payments to us. He also did not pay the 8 million TL in cash. Since he didn't pay, we canceled the sale of 2 apartments. We asked for the 4 apartments back, saying 'Haluk Bey, this won't work; you keep saying tomorrow, tomorrow, you haven't sent the payment.' He told us 'I will send it in 1-2 days,' but he didn't."

REALIZING HE WAS SCAMMED, HE WENT TO THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE

Doğan explained that he realized he was scammed and applied to the prosecutor's office, saying, "Yesterday, I heard about the situation with Haluk Bey on social media. When I heard, we thought we were scammed and filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office. I also requested the cancellation of the title deeds and precautionary measures, primarily for precautionary measures. My lawyer is currently at the courthouse, handling the necessary procedures. The total value of the title deeds I have given is 87 million 500 thousand lira. A contract for 233 million lira was arranged. There were 11 apartments, but we didn't give any after the 4. When we realized we were scammed yesterday, we called the friends who took the title deeds again for the return process. Until late last night, they were telling us, 'I will come and give your title deed on Monday.' We called today, and they didn't answer our phones. We fully understood that we had been scammed. We authorized our lawyer accordingly and initiated the process."

"WE HEARD HE WAS CONSTANTLY BUYING TITLE DEEDS IN SOMEONE ELSE'S NAME"

Stating that Haluk Levent did not make the payments, Doğan said, "Haluk Levent had given us personal promissory notes worth 33 million TL and was supposed to make an 8 million lira cash payment. He did not pay the cash portion. After that, he also gave a surety bond of 233 million lira belonging to the Ahbap Association. My lawyer will present the image of the bond to the prosecutor's office. We heard that he was constantly buying title deeds in someone else's name. As of this morning, our lawyer has initiated the process to file a criminal complaint for fraud against the people we transferred the title deeds to and Haluk Levent, with a priority request for precautionary measures, followed by a criminal complaint."
