Galatasaray, who have made back-to-back moves in the transfer window, announced to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that official negotiations have begun with RB Leipzig for the temporary transfer of 21-year-old French centre-back El Chadaille Bitshiabu. The young defender, who arrived in Istanbul in the morning, said, "I am very happy. I will meet the fans and my new family. I can't wait to meet them."
Transfer activity at Galatasaray continues. The yellow-reds announced that official talks have begun for the temporary transfer of El Chadaille Bitshiabu, who wears the RB Leipzig jersey.
The 21-year-old French center-back arrived in Istanbul around 08:00 in the morning to undergo medical checks and complete the transfer procedures.
GALATASARAY NOTIFIED THE PUBLIC DISCLOSURE PLATFORM (KAP)
The yellow-red club used the following statements in its announcement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) regarding the transfer of the young defender:
“Official negotiations have been initiated with the player and his club RasenBallsport Leipzig GmbH regarding the temporary transfer of professional footballer El-Chadaille Bitshiabu.” Thus, the official process in the Bitshiabu transfer has also begun.

Speaking after his arrival in Istanbul, Bitshiabu said he is happy to join Galatasaray.
The French footballer stated, “It was a very long and bumpy journey. Thank God we have arrived in Istanbul. I am very happy. I will meet the fans and my new family. I can't wait to get to know them.”

The 21-year-old center-back, who said he already knew the Galatasaray fans, said, “I already know the Galatasaray fans. I know the atmosphere is one of the best in Europe.”
Bitshiabu continued his words, “I am very happy and I hope we achieve great things together at Galatasaray. I can't wait to meet the Galatasaray family. I want to meet the Galatasaray fans as soon as possible.”
2 MILLION EURO LOAN FEE
According to the news on Sky, Galatasaray will add Bitshiabu to its squad on a loan with a purchase option. It was stated that the yellow-reds will pay a loan fee of 2 million euros to RB Leipzig, and the player's purchase option will be between 25-30 million euros.
MARKET VALUE 18 MILLION EUROS
Bitshiabu, who transferred from PSG to RB Leipzig in 2023, played in 14 matches for the German team last season. The current market value of the 21-year-old French center-back, who has a contract with Leipzig until 2029, is shown as 18 million euros.
