The experienced coach expressed that they want to play their match against Lech Poznan in Izmir instead of Krakow, stating, "I believe the Turkish people will support us. I do not want to play against the Polish team in Poland. We will try to make this happen."
Highlighting that the Polish team has been performing well both in the league and in Europe, Turan said, "They have a successful head coach. We also want to go as far as possible in the Conference League. We have a dream."
The first match of the matchup will be played on March 12 in Poland, and the return leg will be played on March 19 at the home ground of the Ukrainian team. Shakhtar Donetsk is playing their matches in Krakow, Poland, due to the war.
