Iran announced that the Strait of Hormuz will be opened "after the damage caused by attacks against Iran is compensated with part of the revenue obtained from a new transit status."
Mehdi Tabatabai, an official from the Iranian Presidential Office, announced that the revenue obtained from the new transit status of the Strait of Hormuz will be opened after compensating for the damages. A response was also given to President Trump's threats.

Mehdi Tabatabai, Deputy Head of the Communications Office of the Iranian Presidential Office, made a statement regarding the Strait of Hormuz on the social media platform of the US-based X company.
Tabatabai stated that the Strait of Hormuz will definitely be opened one day after "the damages caused by attacks on Iran are compensated with part of the revenue obtained from a new transit status."

Referring to President Donald Trump's threats of "sending Iran back to the Stone Age," the Iranian official expressed that "Trump is speaking nonsense out of anger and desperation."
"WE CAN CLOSE THE BAB AL-MANDEB STRAIT TOO"
On the other hand, Iran warned that if President Donald Trump carries out his threats to attack the country's energy infrastructure, the Bab al-Mandeb Strait could also be closed alongside the Strait of Hormuz. Ali Akbar Velayati, advisor to Iranian leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, shared a message on his social media account evaluating President Trump's threats. Velayati stated in his message: "The command center of the Resistance Front sees Bab al-Mandeb like the Strait of Hormuz. If the White House plans to repeat its foolish mistakes, it will soon understand that the flow of energy and global trade can be disrupted with a single move."

On the other hand, Trump said: "If Iran does not make a quick deal, I am considering blowing everything up and seizing the oil. You will see bridges and power plants being destroyed across the country."
